Synopsis
In the summer of 1969, Colonel Kim Jin Pyeong returns to South Korea after serving in Vietnam, struggling with PTSD and a loveless marriage to Soo Jin, who yearns for a child. Neighbor Jong Ga Heun, the Chinese-Korean wife of Captain Kyung Woo Jin, arrives at their military camp. The two begin an affair amidst the tense atmosphere.

Résumé
In-gan-jung-dok (2014), directed by Kim Dae-woo, is a drama that combines elements of erotic films and thrillers. Set in South Korea during the summer of 1969, the film explores themes of marital discontent, forbidden love, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
