Synopsis
Inside the Rain follows Benjamin Glass, a college film student struggling with bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and borderline personality traits. Despite his diagnoses, he prefers to describe himself as 'recklessly extravagant'. After a misunderstanding threatens his expulsion from college, Benjamin hatches a plan to recreate the incident on video in order to clear his name. He seeks help from a moonlighting porn actress named Ella, whom he befriends at a strip club while wallowing in self-pity. Together, they aim to produce this film, but Benjamin faces an uphill battle as his parents dismiss the scheme as another manic episode and refuse to fund it.
