Synopsis
After his mother's death, Stepán (Pavel Kríz) finds himself at a crossroads in life. He takes up a job as an ambulance doctor and moves into his apartment with his best friend Kendy (David Matásek), who has been kicked out by his wife. Initially enjoying their new bachelor lifestyle, things change when Stepán meets Anna (Michaela Badinková). She inspires him to consider a career change, even offering him an administrative position at the local hospital. However, Stepán must decide if this new path is truly what he wants.

Résumé
'Jak básníci neztrácejí nadeji' is a 2004 comedy-drama directed by Dušan Klein, continuing the popular Czech film franchise from the 1980s. The story centers around Stepán, who navigates life after his mother's passing and tries to find purpose in his new job and living situation with Kendy. Love enters the equation when he meets Anna, leading him to question his career path and what he truly desires.
