Dr. Henry Jekyll, a brilliant scientist, creates an alter-ego avatar which he downloads directly into his brain. This transformation turns him into Edward Hyde, a psychopathic, hedonistic party animal who indulges in ultra-violent behavior. Hyde becomes obsessed with a sexy stripper and begins to abandon his girlfriend, Lisa, causing tension between them. As Hyde's violent actions leave bodies in his wake, his best friends become increasingly concerned for their safety. Meanwhile, Dr. Jekyll struggles to regain control over his alter-ego and return to his normal life.

'Jekyll' is a horror film directed by Scott Zakarin that was released in the United States in 2007. The movie is a modern adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novella 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde'. Unlike the original story, this version focuses on Jekyll's creation of an avatar which, when downloaded into his brain, turns him into Hyde, a psychopathic hedonist with ultra-violent tendencies. The film explores themes of identity, duality, and the struggle for control over one's darker impulses.
