Synopsis
Scott, John, and Suzie embark on an adventurous journey from Los Angeles to Alaska in pursuit of their dream to start a salmon fishing business. However, they soon discover that life in Alaska is much harder than anticipated. In desperation, they resort to robbing a pipeline and taking one of the employees hostage as they struggle to survive.

Directed by Joseph Ruben in 1977, 'Joyride' is an adventure drama that follows three young friends from Los Angeles as they journey northwards to Alaska.
