Synopsis
Kill the Irishman (2011), directed by Jonathan Hensleigh, is set in Cleveland during the summer of 1976 and follows the true story of Irish mobster Danny Greene. The film begins with a series of bombings in the city, as a turf war between Greene and the Italian mafia escalates. Greene, a former longshoreman turned enforcer for the local mob, gains power and notoriety during this period.
