Synopsis
Dominick possesses an extraordinary ability; he can turn invisible at will. However, this power brings him no joy nor advantage in life. Instead of embracing it, he conceals his gift from loved ones, as if it were a curse. The strain of controlling his invisibility begins to affect Dominick's relationships and mental stability. In 'L'angle mort', directed by Patrick-Mario Bernard and Pierre Trividic, we follow Dominick's struggle to balance his power with his personal life.

'L'angle mort' (2019), a French drama directed by Patrick Mario Bernard and Pierre Trividic, is an unconventional exploration of the superhero genre. Unlike typical superhero narratives, 'Blind Spot', as it's known in English, presents a melancholic and introspective take on extraordinary abilities. The film follows Dominick, whose power to become invisible offers him no solace or advantage in life. Instead, it becomes a source of struggle and isolation for him. This anti-spectacular approach challenges the usual tropes of superhero cinema.
