Synopsis
In late 19th century France, Joseph Ferdinand Cheval (Jacques Gamblin), a humble postman, traverses the Drôme region daily between villages. Upon meeting Philomena (Laetitia Casta) and having a daughter named Alice with her, Cheval becomes determined to build an extraordinary palace for his beloved child using only his own hands. Despite facing numerous hardships and setbacks over three decades, he remains undeterred in his pursuit of creating 'The Ideal Palace'.
