Synopsis
La Garçonne (series) follows Louise Kerlac who witnesses the murder of a family friend in Paris at the start of the Roaring Twenties. To investigate the crime and hide from the true culprit, Louise poses as her twin brother Antoine, becoming a police detective. Meanwhile, several young models have gone missing, drawing Louise into an investigation alongside Roman Ketoff, an attractive and maverick journalist. To infiltrate high society and protect her identity, Louise creates Gisele, a flamboyant female alter ego. Louise navigates her investigations as Antoine by day and Gisele by night, uncovering truths about those close to her that challenge her existence.
