Synopsis
Based on Jean M. Auel's novel of the same name, 'La guerre du feu' (1981) directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud follows the story of a young caveman named Ayla, who gets separated from her clan during a volcanic eruption. She subsequently encounters another tribe called the Mammoth Hunters and joins them to survive in this harsh prehistoric world filled with danger.

'La guerre du feu' is an adventure drama film set during the prehistoric era. It's based on Jean M. Auel's novel of the same name, marking one of the first instances where a novel from the Earth's Children series was adapted for cinema. The movie was directed by French filmmaker Jean-Jacques Annaud in 1981.
