Synopsis
Francesca, a beautiful woman who recently lost her husband and discovered his infidelity and debts, struggles financially. Her best friend Cesare, a solicitor, advises her to sell off her belongings to survive. Though she manages for a while, she faces job rejections and has no future prospects. Desperate, Francesca sets up an unusual lottery where the prize is herself. Twenty influential men from Bari's high society buy tickets in this illegal game. On the same day, Francesca falls in love with Antonio. However, their situation becomes complicated when a judge starts investigating the lottery, threatening to expose the scandal.
