Histoire
In 1936 Andalusia, Spain, tailor and town councilor Higinio hides in his own house after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. He's caught by his vengeful neighbor Gonzalo but escapes during transport to prison. Higinio remains hidden in his house for decades, with his wife Rosa supporting him. Their lives become increasingly strained due to isolation, fear, and guilt. In 1963, their son Jaime, raised believing his parents died when he was a baby, brings home a friend wanted by Franco's police. Around the same time, Gonzalo continues his quest for revenge against Higinio. In 1969, news on the radio changes Higinio's life.
