Histoire
The story unfolds in South Florida during spring break when a group of thrill-seeking youngsters ventures into the Florida Everglades for excitement. Unbeknownst to them, they are entering a place filled with massive mosquitoes, snakes longer than school buses, and tens of thousands of aggressive alligators. However, their true horror begins when they encounter an unknown killer who is lurking in the swamps.

Lake Fear 2: The Swamp (2016), directed by Ben Wilder, is a sequel to the original Lake Fear film and falls under the horror genre.
