Synopsis
After civilization succumbs to a deadly pandemic and his wife is murdered by Commander Stone, John Wood, a special forces soldier, retreats into the Nordic wilderness as a hermit. Years later, Maria Johnson, an escaped lab rat with a unique blood type believed to hold the key to a worldwide cure, arrives at his doorstep wounded. Initially hesitant, John's resolve changes when he discovers that Commander Stone is leading Maria's pursuers.

Résumé
Last Man Down (2021) is an action-thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a deadly pandemic. The film follows former special forces soldier John Wood who, after the murder of his wife and the collapse of society, becomes a recluse in the Nordic wilderness. The story takes a turn when Maria Johnson, an escaped lab experiment with potentially life-saving blood, appears at John's doorstep. With themes of revenge, redemption, and the lengths one would go to save humanity, Last Man Down explores John's struggle between his desire for isolation and his duty to protect others.
