Synopsis
Les Rencontres d'après minuit follows an aspiring painter named Alain, who lives in Paris with his girlfriend, Marie. The film opens with Alain's birthday celebration at a nightclub, where he meets and becomes infatuated with a mysterious woman named Esther. Esther introduces him to her group of friends who participate in sexual encounters and role-playing games at their apartment. Alain begins to attend these gatherings regularly and starts a relationship with Esther despite his commitment to Marie.
