Synopsis
Bonnie, a young and successful Latina architect living in New York City, is sexually assaulted while walking home from an evening out with friends in Brooklyn. Initially, Bonnie denies the impact of the assault on her life and pushes away her long-term boyfriend Matt's attempts to help her cope. She struggles to regain normalcy and control over her emotions, leading to strain in her relationship with Matt. When another woman is assaulted in their neighborhood, Bonnie's denial deepens. However, an encounter with a vulnerable woman causes Bonnie to confront her own self-blame and face the truth of what happened to her.
