Synopsis
Margaret, an English teacher at a Japanese flight attendant academy by day and a frequent visitor of Tokyo's nightlife by night, struggles to find purpose in her life. She meets Ines, another expat, at a Japanese dive bar where they drink together to forget their troubles and engage in fleeting love hotel encounters with men. Margaret's life takes a turn when she crosses paths with Kazu, a handsome yakuza. Despite the danger and tradition that could hinder their relationship, Margaret falls in love with him. The film follows Margaret as she navigates her way through the dark and light sides of love while trying to find herself abroad.
