Xavier Lombard, a private investigator in London who has fled his native Paris, is hired by the parents of a missing man, the brother-in-law of an old friend from the Paris police department now turned businessman. Xavier's search leads him into the disturbing world of children's sexual slavery.

Lost Son (1999) is a British-French-American drama-thriller directed by Chris Menges and written by Mark Mills. The film follows Xavier Lombard, a private investigator in London who is drawn into investigating the disappearance of his friend's brother-in-law.
