Histoire
Anna, a young radio deejay at a Los Angeles public station, discovers old love letters intended for her mother from an unknown admirer. Intrigued by the romantic notions expressed in these letters, Anna starts an affair with Oliver, a married photographer she meets at a party. Their physical attraction is immediate, and they begin a torrid affair despite Oliver's warnings that he has no intention of leaving his family. Initially content with their arrangement, Anna's feelings soon develop, leading her to desire a permanent relationship. However, this causes tension between them, as Oliver is unwilling to leave his wife and children. In the end, Anna decides to take a job offer at a radio station in San Francisco to start anew after meeting the man her mother had an affair with.
