Synopsis
In the 1920s in Milwaukee, Dolly, married to wealthy but boorish Fred, feels trapped and unfulfilled in her marriage. She meets Otto, a repairman who becomes her lover. When Otto shoots Fred dead, Dolly must find a way to keep Otto hidden while avoiding suspicion.
