Synopsis
In the summer of 1918, two young women, Luise and Elsa, live alone on a secluded farm in Alsace, which was then part of Germany. Their lives are disrupted by the arrival of Hermann, a young German deserter from World War I. A complex relationship forms between the three, filled with love, competition, and resentment.
