Synopsis
In 'Machete', former Mexican Federale Machete Cortez (Danny Trejo) is hired by a mysterious man, Booth (Jeff Fahey), to assassinate a Texas Senator who opposes illegal immigration. However, the job turns out to be a set-up. After Machete realizes this and escapes from the scene of the botched assassination, he goes on a brutal rampage for revenge against Booth.

'Machete' is an exploitation action film directed by Ethan Maniquis and Robert Rodriguez. The movie follows the titular character, Machete Cortez, who is double-crossed by his employer during a political assassination attempt. After surviving the betrayal, Machete seeks vengeance against those who wronged him.
