Synopsis
In 18th century Vienna, Maria Theresia von Paradis, a prodigious piano player and friend of Mozart, loses her eyesight as a child. Her parents, desperate to cure her, entrust her to Dr. Mesmer, a forward-thinking physician who employs innovative magnetic techniques to gradually restore Maria's sight. However, this miracle comes at a cost: as Maria regains her vision, she begins to lose her extraordinary musical talent.

Résumé
Mademoiselle Paradis is a historical drama directed by Barbara Albert and set in late 18th century Vienna.
