Synopsis
In the small town of Skelleftehamn in northern Sweden during the year 1820, a mysterious stranger named Meisner arrives. He introduces himself as a 'magnetist', claiming to possess healing powers that even doctors cannot achieve. Dr. Selander, initially skeptical but desperate for his daughter Maria's blindness to be cured, allows Meisner to treat her. Remarkably, Maria regains her sight and falls in love with the charming magnetist.
