Synopsis
After losing her teenage son, Margaret, a Dublin divorcée, takes in Joe, a homeless youth she finds injured and alone. They form an unorthodox relationship built on mutual loneliness and need for companionship. Margaret sees in Joe a chance at redemption and a substitute for the son she lost. However, their tentative bond is threatened by Joe's involvement with a violent gang and Margaret's ex-husband's escalating rage over his own grief.
