Synopsis
In fifteenth century Bohemia, Jan Zizka, a Czech icon and warlord, leads his band of mercenaries against powerful enemies in pursuit of equality for the Czech people. The story revolves around Zizka's battles against the Teutonic Order and the Holy Roman Empire, inspired by historical events known as the Hussite Wars (1419-1434). Along their journey, Zizka and his mercenaries become entangled with a local heiress, adding a personal dimension to their struggle.
