Synopsis
Melody (28), desiring money to open her dream hairdressing salon, agrees to become a surrogate mother for Emily (48), a wealthy Englishwoman who can no longer have children. Emily welcomes Melody into her home during the pregnancy. Initially from different worlds, they form a maternal bond with Melody finding a mother figure in Emily and Emily seeing a daughter in Melody. The surrogacy process generates unexpected emotions for both women.

Résumé
Melody (2014), directed by Bernard Bellefroid, is a Belgian-French-Luxembourg drama about surrogacy and its emotional impacts on the women involved. The film follows Melody, who decides to become a surrogate mother to raise funds for her hairdressing salon dream, and Emily, a wealthy woman who cannot have children.
