Synopsis
Melon Rainbow (short), directed by Laurits Flensted-Jensen in 2015, follows the titular character, Melon Rainbow, a young woman who leads a double life. By day, she works as a cleaning lady at a Housing Association for blind people, where she has minimal interaction with its residents. However, at night, she transforms into an online persona, using her webcam and pink neon lamp to entertain unseen followers while undressing.
One day, Melon Rainbow crosses paths with Albert, a young blind man residing in the housing association. They begin a sexual relationship, marking a significant change in Melon Rainbow's life. Throughout the short film, she struggles to find meaning and connection in her daily routine, ultimately finding it through her relationship with Albert.
