Synopsis
Stella James, a chef from an unknown location, moves to Los Angeles with her alcoholic friend Teo. Teo eventually gives Stella a plane ticket to Los Angeles to start life without him. In LA, Stella finds work at George Babbington's restaurant and begins living independently. She falls into casual affairs while adjusting to her new life.
