Synopsis
Jacob, a young man with a rare skin disorder that makes him sensitive to sunlight, lives a solitary life working as a security guard at night. His world changes when he meets and falls in love with Mary, a local bartender. As his condition worsens, Jacob begins craving blood for sustenance, initially consuming animal blood but eventually resorting to human blood due to its effectiveness. This newfound dependence on human blood brings out violent tendencies in him, coinciding with a series of grisly murders in the city. Local law enforcement starts suspecting Jacob as the prime suspect, leading him to struggle with controlling his impulses while trying to protect Mary.

Midnight Son is a 2011 American horror-thriller directed by Scott Leberecht.
