Histoire
In 'Mirage (short)', a lonely man residing in a tenement building becomes infatuated with an elusive woman he spots across the courtyard. She appears only as a silhouette in her window, never interacting with him directly. The man's sense of reality begins to unravel, consumed by his obsession with this mysterious figure.
Résumé
Mirage (short) is a atmospheric, psychological short film directed by Emiliano Granada Ortega in 2018. It explores themes of loneliness, obsession, and the fine line between love and madness. The film takes place almost entirely within the confines of two tenement buildings, using the stark contrast between daylight and nighttime to heighten tension. With minimal dialogue and a focus on visual storytelling, Ortega creates an unsettling atmosphere that blurs reality with illusion.
