Synopsis

'Naked Director' is an adaptation from a biography of Tooru Muranishi, one of Japan's most notorious directors of adult video. Set against the backdrop of the economic bubble during the Showa era (1926-89), the series explores Muranishi's art, vision, and his complex relationships with various individuals in the industry and beyond.
