Synopsis
The Griswold family wins a vacation to Europe on a game show and decides to pack their bags for this continent-wide trip. Their plan is to catch the flavor of Europe, but they soon realize they're not your typical tourist family. They struggle with being good tourists, especially in countries where they can speak the language. The movie follows their comedic misadventures as they attempt to navigate and enjoy Europe.

National Lampoon's European Vacation is a comedic film directed by Amy Heckerling, released in 1985. It is the second installment in the National Lampoon's Vacation series, following 'National Lampoon's Vacation'. The movie satirizes typical American tourist behavior while traveling abroad, focusing on the Griswold family who unintentionally cause chaos wherever they go. Despite being set in Europe, many scenes were shot in America with replicas or models of European landmarks.
