Synopsis
Nikita is a violent drug addict who fatally shoots a police officer during a struggle over her bag. Sentenced to life imprisonment, she is offered a chance at redemption by a secret government program that transforms her into an assassin. Under the tutelage of her mentor Bob, Nikita undergoes rigorous training and emerges as a skilled killer with a new identity. The program aims to use Nikita for its own purposes, but her growing feelings for a man named Marco threaten to derail her fate.
