Synopsis
A philosophy teacher encounters a seventeen-year-old girl named Marie in his class who holds a cynical view of the world. Intrigued by her intellect and attitudes, he takes an interest in helping her focus on her studies. However, their relationship evolves into a passionate love affair. As complications arise, the teacher must choose between Marie and his wife. When he makes his decision, Marie refuses to accept it.
