Synopsis
Obey follows nineteen-year-old Leon who returns home to care for his alcoholic mother after spending his adolescence in and out of foster care. Frustrated with his lack of education and bleak financial prospects, Leon finds solace in boxing. He meets Twiggy, a rebellious young woman squatting in abandoned houses to escape her family's affluence. As riots begin in their neighborhood and tensions rise between police and protesters, Leon must decide whether to join his friends and fight or leave with Twiggy.
