Synopsis
In Rome, a serial killer known as 'The Cellist' has been strangling prostitutes with cello rope. The killer's next target is Diana, a luxury escort who frequented Via Veneto hotels. During her attempted abduction in a van crash, Diana loses her sight. While recovering at the hospital and adjusting to life without sight with the aid of Rita from the Blind Society, Diana becomes aware that 'The Cellist' intends to finish his work. Teaming up with Chin, a Chinese orphan living nearby, Diana tries to evade the killer in a cat-and-mouse chase.

Résumé
Dario Argento's 2022 film 'Occhiali neri' ('Dark Glasses') is an installment in the giallo horror-thriller genre. The movie centers around Diana, a luxury escort targeted by 'The Cellist', a serial killer who strangles his victims with cello rope. After losing her sight during an abduction attempt gone wrong, Diana navigates her new life with help from Rita of the Blind Society and Chin, a local orphan. Meanwhile, she must evade 'The Cellist' who remains intent on finishing his work.
