Synopsis
Once Upon a Time in Venice follows Steve Ford, a private investigator living in Venice Beach, California. He's known for his charm with women and his love for his dog Buddy. When local thugs steal Buddy to lure Steve into helping them, he turns to Spyder, their leader, for an unlikely alliance. With the help of his best friend, Steve agrees to retrieve Spyder's stolen cash and cocaine in exchange for Buddy's safe return.

Résumé
Once Upon a Time in Venice is a 2017 American action-comedy film directed by Mark Cullen and Robb Cullen. The movie stars Bruce Dern as Steve Ford, a private detective with a soft spot for his dog Buddy. The plot revolves around the kidnapping of Buddy by local thugs led by Spyder, which forces Steve into an uneasy alliance to save his beloved pet.
