Synopsis
In this cinematic adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy, Iago, a cunning and manipulative character, deceives Othello, a Moorish general in the Venetian army. Feigning friendship, Iago convinces Othello that his wife Desdemona has been unfaithful with Cassio, Othello's lieutenant. Consumed by jealousy and rage, Othello ultimately kills Desdemona before realizing her innocence. This tragic sequence of events is orchestrated by Iago to serve his own agenda.
