Synopsis
Madeleine Lasserre, a successful businesswoman and talented painter, discovers an idyllic rural farmhouse in the Vercors region during one of her walks. She convinces her husband William, a retired meteorologist, to purchase it as their dream home. Soon after moving in, disaster strikes the town's sophisticated blind mayor Adam and his charming young wife Eva. The Lasserres, being kind-hearted neighbors, welcome them into their new home until they get back on their feet.

Résumé
Peindre ou faire l'amour (2005) is a comedy-drama film directed by Arnaud Larrieu and Jean-Marie Larrieu. The story revolves around the content married couple William and Madeleine Lasserre, who enjoy a peaceful life in the Vercors region after their daughter moves away. When Madeleine discovers an enchanting farmhouse, they decide to purchase it as their dream home. However, their tranquil existence is disrupted when they take in the mayor Adam and his wife Eva after a sudden calamity.
