Histoire
In 'Piranha' (1978), a summer resort's peaceful atmosphere turns into a living nightmare when flesh-eating piranhas are accidentally released into the river flowing through it. This happened due to a secret government experiment gone wrong, with the deadly fish escaping from their secluded pool. The vacationers, unaware of the impending danger, soon become the creatures' next meal as they swim and enjoy water activities in the infested waters.
Résumé

The movie is known for its campy tone and over-the-top gore, making it a cult classic among horror fans. It's notable not only for its entertaining premise but also for serving as a critique of government experimentation and its potential hazards to public safety.
