Histoire
The story unfolds during the Spanish Inquisition era when Maria, a kind-hearted woman, witnesses the public whipping of a child and inadvertently cries out in horror. This act leads to her arrest as a witch by Torquemada, the Grand Inquisitor. Torquemada becomes obsessed with Maria, determined to punish her for the desire she ignites within him. Meanwhile, Maria's husband Antonio desperately tries to save her from this brutal fate.
