Synopsis
Play Nice (1992) follows Lt. Penucci, a troubled police officer who must track down a serial killer wreaking havoc in his city. The film begins with a series of gruesome murders, hinting at the presence of a psychopathic killer on the loose. Penucci, despite his strained relationships with superiors and colleagues, takes it upon himself to solve these crimes before another victim falls prey.
As the investigation progresses, Penucci crosses paths with a researcher who is assisting him in profiling the elusive killer. The two grow closer, both professionally and personally, until she becomes romantically involved with the officer. However, a surprising twist turns this woman into the prime suspect in the very crimes they are trying to solve.
