Synopsis
Jerzy, a writer and chronic alcoholic, attempts to overcome his addiction but struggles after his lover leaves him. He ends up in intensive care following a heavy drinking session at 'The Mighty Angel' bar. While recovering in hospital, Jerzy meets other alcoholics from various walks of life who share their experiences of addiction through reading stories they've written about their past escapades.

'Pod Mocnym Aniolem' (Under the Strong Angel) is a Polish drama directed by Wojciech Smarzowski that explores the harsh realities and personal narratives of alcoholism.
