Private Investigator Bill Harlow receives an unusual client - Jonathan Woods, a wealthy nightclub owner who stumbles into his office already poisoned and with minutes to live. Woods hires Harlow to find out who murdered him by throwing cash onto Harlow's desk. The prime suspect is Veronica Woods, Jonathan's wife whom he married only a week prior and who works as a stripper in one of his clubs.
