Synopsis
In 'Prime Cut', a group of ruthless mob enforcers from Chicago are dispatched to Kansas City to collect an outstanding debt from a slaughterhouse owner who has been skimming money off the top. The enforcers, led by Mary Ann (Lee Stockwell) and Nick Devlin (Gene Hackman), arrive in the small community and quickly establish their dominance through intimidation and violence. However, as they attempt to settle the debt and bring the slaughterhouse back under control of the Irish mob, they encounter resistance from both the owner and his associate, Jake 'The Barber' McKane (Joe Spinell). The story unfolds with a series of tense negotiations, brutal confrontations, and unexpected alliances in the rural Kansas landscape.
