Synopsis
The movie 'Public Enemies' (1996) follows the notorious criminal family, the Barker-Karpis gang, led by the matriarch Ma Barker and her sons during the 1930s in the United States. The gang gains infamy for their bank robberies and other crimes, eventually landing at the top of the FBI's Most Wanted list. The story culminates in a violent confrontation between the gang and FBI agent Melvin Purvis.
