Histoire
Two Peace Corps volunteers in Africa, Carly and Melanie, are falsely accused of drug-peddling and sentenced to eleven years in prison despite numerous bribes by Carly's mother Ruth. The prison is run oppressively by Warden Bledsoe who exploits attractive inmates as prostitutes. Melanie kills herself after being gang-raped by guards, prompting Carly to decide she must escape.
