Synopsis
Napoleone, an artist discontented with his marriage, leaves home and finds employment as a gardener at a grand mansion on the island of Elba during summer. The house is inhabited by Paola, a flirtatious teenage girl, her mother, and stepfather. Napoleone's employers' daughter, Paola, initially seems attracted to him due to his artistic background. However, things become complicated when Napoleone develops genuine feelings for Paola, which escalate into violent behavior after he becomes jealous of another man courting her.
