Synopsis
In this medieval fantasy tale, young blacksmith Eyvind hides infant Prince Siegfried after his father's murder by two malevolent kings. Years later, a fiery meteor reveals Siegfried's destiny as the rightful heir to a conquered kingdom. He embarks on a quest to save his crumbling kingdom and claim the heart of his true love, Norse warrior queen Brunhild. However, a nefarious dragon named Fafnir guards a treasure that Siegfried desires, but which is cursed and endangers his love for Brunhild.

Résumé
Directed by Uli Edel in 2004, 'Ring of the Nibelungs' is a swords-and-sorcery television film set against a backdrop of Viking mythology. It follows the legend of Siegfried, who unwittingly becomes popular with the Burgundians after slaying the dragon Fafnir for its treasure. The plot revolves around themes of destiny, love, and jealousy, as Siegfried navigates his newfound powers and royal lineage to protect his kingdom and secure Brunhild's heart.
